Programs
Anchorage Montessori School offers classes for students ranging from 19 months of age up through the sixth grade.
- Toddler (19 months – three years) both AM and PM classes
- Pre-School (three years – five years, both half day and full day
- Kindergarten - students eligible for Kindergarten spend half a day in Preschool mentoring the younger students and half a day in Kindergarten
- Lower Elementary – Students 5-9 years old attend for a full day
- Upper Elementary - Students 9-12 years old attend for a full day
Supplemental Classes are offered to round out our school program.
Julie Mathews with degrees in Art and Elementary Education offers weekly Art classes to our Preschool and Elementary Students.
Ann McElhoes with an M.A. in Music offers weekly classes for Preschool and Elementary Students.
Heather Arnold offers classes in Physical Education to Elementary Students twice weekly in the afternoon.
Loredana Di Cecco, President of Dante Alighieri Society, instructs weekly classes in Italian to Elementary Students.
Parents Karin Padgett and Maricella Beltran offer weekly Spanish classes for our Preschool Students.
