
Programs
Anchorage Montessori School offers classes for students ranging from 19 months of age up through the sixth grade.
- Toddler (19 months – three years) both AM and PM classes
- Pre-School (three years – five years, both half day and full day
- Kindergarten - students eligible for Kindergarten spend half a day in Preschool mentoring the younger students and half a day in Kindergarten
- Lower Elementary – Students 6-9 years old attend for a full day
- Upper Elementary - Students 9-12 years old attend for a full day
Supplemental Classes are offered to round out our school program.
Julie Mathews with degrees in Art and Elementary Education offers weekly Art classes to our Kindergarten and Elementary Students.
Tere Obrochta with a BA in Psychology offers classes in Physical Education to Elementary Students twice weekly in the afternoon.
Tere Obrochta (who is from the Dominican Republic) also instructs classes in Spanish to Elementary Students twice a week.
Lissete Mixan, a native of Peru, offers classes in Spanish to Preschool and Toddler children twice a week.
