Welcome to our Fall Carnival page! Here you can find all the information about the school carnival in one place! Please read on for all of the details and reach out if you have any questions!

The AMS Carnival is not only a family-friendly fun-filled day, it is also one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Tuition covers the cost of school, and fundraising helps to raise money for upgrade projects like playground improvements, security features, a new furnace, or other things to help make the school a better place for the children. 

Baskets will remain open for bidding until December 9th, with the exception of the Come From Away Tickets, which will close on November 20th to be awarded before the Thanksgiving Break.

Ticket Pre-Sales

Arrive at the carnival and go straight to having fun, playing games, eating, meeting our balloon magician, and face painting!

Click below to pre-order online. Your tickets will magically appear at the front desk when you arrive at the event. 

• Games and activities are 1-5 tickets
• Food items start at 5 tickets
• Face painting 5-10 tickets

Tickets will be sold at the event, in blocks of 10 for $10

How to buy tickets:

1. Click link below
2. Select “fundraising” from the drop down menu
3. In “Event Name” type “Carnival Tickets”
4. Enter amount. $50.00 for 60 tickets or $20 for 20 tickets.
5. Enter cardholder information.
6. Click “continue” to review and submit.
7. Pick up your tickets at the front desk when you arrive at the carnival!

Volunteer

The AMS Carnival is one of the biggest fundraising events of the year and is run almost entirely by parent volunteers. If you would like to sign up to volunteer, please click the link below to see the options.

Parking

Parking is limited at AMS. If the lot is full, you are welcome to park at Northwood Elementary School. 

Please DO NOT park on Aspen Drive. Your car may be towed. 

Be a Carnival Booth Sponsor

Support the school by having your family or business name displayed on a carnival booth! The last day to sign up as a sponsor is October 30th. 

To sign up follow these steps:

1. Choose a game and add your contact name and email.
2. Pay the $250 fee by clicking here. (choose ‘fundraising’ from the drop down menu, type ‘sponsor carnival booth’ in the event name)
3. You will receive a confirmation email requesting the company name and logo.

*Please note: If you prefer to pay by cash or check, you can sign up below and drop your cash or check at the front desk.

Classroom Baskets

Part of the annual school carnival is a silent auction of baskets created from the generous donations from families to themed baskets hosted by each classroom. More information will come home with your child in a flyer soon, but for easy reference this month, here are the theme's for each classroom:

Birch: Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Willow: Family Outing
Wild Iris: Snow Day
Prickly Rose: Coffee Break
Fireweed: Buy Local
Lupine: Games & Toys
Elderberry: Montessori in the Home
Silverberry Lower-El: STEM
Salmonberry Upper-El: Art
We need a few more baskets of various sizes too.
