AMS 2026 Summer Hiking Series
AMS Family Hike Night series was created to bring our community together, make the most of our short Alaskan summer, learn about local plants, berries, and wildlife alongside our children, build character, get exercise, and support other parents in overcoming fears or anxieties about getting outdoors with their kids.
These hikes are meant to be family-friendly and child-led. We’ll start with easier trails and gradually work up to longer and more challenging hikes throughout the summer.
